Haligonian? Dear me, are you from Star Trek?!
I'm going to guess that means from Halifax?
So it's just you and me in Melbourne so far. |

I never liked Haligonian.... maybe Haligoofian or Haligoonian..... or maybe HelliFuckers..... but I guess it's not my job to make those things up.
But soon enough I imagine I'll be in Melbourne... either living or at the least visiting, once I figure out what's all going on for jobs and such. |

So a few Melbournians huh. And a few who would like to be Melbournians or will be soon. That's nice. How strong was the fanbase in Melbourne during TTP days... well I suppose we fitted into the Forum Theatre which is pretty big and that was at the 'end of days'...
It's quite interesting there is quite a turnover at the concerts in Melbourne, usually there are only a few I recognise... so there's obviously more out there. Just not on here. Actually there have been a few people drop off I have noticed, at concerts I mean... I hate to bring up the setlist issue again but it doesn't help.
But hopefully a new setlist coming up!
Does anyone know what happened to those Australian myspace people with the Tea Party fan page? |

I have been told some of the tracks from the setlists at the recent Perth shows but, I'll keep those secret. Part of me wants to be surprised aswell
The one thing I noticed about the difference between Sydney and Melbourne crowds - Melbourne crowds were more open and welcoming of Jeff playing new songs from his solo album and the Armada album. They just seemed to 'get' him. Whereas Sydney crowds really only wanted to hear Tea Party tunes. The crowd would go silent during songs from Exile or The Armada then erupt in cheers and hollering for Sister Awake or Psychopomp. It was quite strange ...
Which meant I liked going to see Jeff in Melbourne more than Sydney
Though this acoustic tour around, I couldn't afford it unfortunately. Plus, after 6 weeks away on holidays I think my boss would have a coronary if I asked for another week to go see Jeff *lol* |
